San Diego this weekend, Oct 29 to Nov 1

Halloween weekend, the actual plan

Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, which means the whole county is going out and the good rooms will be packed. We cut it down to what we would actually pay for, plus a few things for Thursday and Sunday when the costumes come off. Skip the Gaslamp wristband crawls and go to one real party instead.

23 picks, Thursday through Sunday. This is the SD Scoop email that went out Wednesday morning; read it on sdscoop.co or get next week's in your inbox.

Parties

Blood Lovers: Dennis Ferrer, Armen Miran, Tara Brooks

Sat, Oct 31 · 8pm · Balboa Park, Balboa Park · from $39

Halloween night outdoors in the park with Dennis Ferrer, which is the house booking of the weekend. Armen Miran and Tara Brooks on the same bill means it gets deeper as the night goes. Costumes are the point, so commit.
